Intenational Women’s Day and Ayurveda

Vamaveda – A women is referred to as Vama in Sanskrit, because generally she occupies the left position while seating besides her spouse. Also, the left half of a woman’s body is more active than her right half according to all ancient sciences like Ayurveda and Yoga, which is why an Ayurvedic physician always examines the pulse of her left hand.

At Ayushree, we want to bring the goodness of Ayurveda customised specially for ‘Her’ needs, as we acknowledge that ‘She’ is special and needs special care. Because we believe that she is a special creation of the almighty.

She is tender and delicate physically, but mentally she is very strong and has an inbuilt ability of multitasking and caring. Her body is designed differently by the nature as we know that she is entrusted with special responsibilities of giving birth and nurturing the new generations. Her anatomy and physiology is starkly different from her male counterparts to be able to fulfil these responsibilities. Each aspect of her Mind-body system is designed to perform differently than a male, this difference is not restricted to the female organs alone, it is not only about the uterus and ovaries and breasts, but the whole body also set up of hormones is very different which affects every cell of other systems as well. It also influences the behaviour, thinking patterns and reactions. Hence, we believe that ‘She’ is different!

When it comes to her family, she assumes extra powers and sails the whole family through all ordeals. But when it is about her health, she chooses to ignore and postpone it. She always puts the needs of her family ahead of herself and in turn she ends up suffering more. We might have experienced that when she is not well the whole family suffers!

We appeal to the better halves please come ahead and take care of yourselves for your sake and for the sake of your families. We would like to bring customised Ayurveda for You! We also would like to appeal our male friends it is now our turn to take care of our mothers, sisters, wives, daughters, and all other women in our family they surely deserve a better health!
